Pool. Probably the easiest way to keep fit on holiday is make the most of the pool. Whether you’re on luxury cruises or beach breaks, there will always be a pool available to do a few laps in. The refreshing nature of swimming pools makes them more of a treat than a form of exercise, meaning you'll want to stay in longer. Try setting a target number of lengths to build up to by the end of your holiday and you’ll not only stay fit, but also feel like you’ve achieved something on your break.
Cruising. Very active people can struggle to enjoy cruises sometimes as they are feel a little trapped, especially when the facilities are not very extensive. Ships such as the ones SeaDream operates always have plenty of gym space and swimming pools to use and plenty of other activity choices. However, if you are limited, you should make the most of the time spent on land at the ports. Walking is a great way to stay in shape so resist the urge to use taxis to get around.
Beach Running. Many people find it hard to give up the running bug, even for a couple of weeks and doing it on a beach with most definitely push you further. As sand tends to give way under foot, the body is forced to work even harder to maintain momentum and ultimately a better workout is achieved. To ensure you path is most clear and you don't overheat when running, it's advisable to go before sunrise or alternatively at the end of the day when its cool and quiet.
